"a little dog makes a big difference . . ." The Happy Zach book, although written as fiction, has little treasures of truth sprinkled throughout the story, because Zach was a real dog. The story starts with a family who has lost a loved one, a not-so-uncommon situation experienced by many today.​

 

Starting with early winter, the story weaves through Christmas, where the gift Marissa chooses for her daughter Emma begins the healing process for both of them. A delightful tale of puppy antics moves the story to late autumn, where a secret Emma has kept inside is finally revealed.

I've experienced loss as well, but I choose to focus more on the joy that comes when we know God cares. It's a happy story, full of beautiful paintings, and a touch of humor. 

 

Zach left us in December, 2023, after 16 years of a happy life. His memory will always be in our hearts and his story will be shared with many others.

 
The book is a Christian faith-based story, suitable for ages 4-adult.
